The Maverick has two powertrain options to choose from. The base model features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, producing 191 horsepower. It pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). For an extra kick of power, there’s a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower.
